To ensure that your cancellation notice is accepted, you should enter your full name (preferably in block letters), specify in which country you used C-date and also include the e-mail address you used to register with C-date.

If you purchased a C-date membership via the app (iOS from Apple or Android), the cancellation process is a bit different.

Here it depends on the method you used to pay for your C-date membership. If you used one of the payment methods offered by C-date (direct debit, credit card, PayPal, bank transfer), then you have to follow the instructions above to cancel C-date (by mail or fax). If you paid through Google Play, you’ll have to follow the terms outlined in Google Play.

Please note that deleting your user profile / deleting the app from your smartphone isn’t the same as cancelling your C-date membership. If you signed up for a premium membership, deleting your account / username doesn’t affect the membership itself. The membership must be cancelled separately. Simply logging off the app also doesn’t affect your membership. 

Yes, you can cancel C-date without a fax. It’s important that the C-date cancellation notice is submitted in writing. As an alternative to canceling by fax, you can also send your cancellation notice in the form of a letter (preferably by registered mail).
